Scott McKain – Agribusiness Keynote Speaker
When the poet wrote, “You can’t go home again,” he was unaware of Scott McKain’s strong ties – and frequent returns – to the world’s most important agricultural organizations.
Scott McKain’s career literally began in agribusiness. Scott’s first speeches were as a member of his hometown chapter of the (then) Future Farmers of America. Scott rose to prominence in the organization as President of the Indiana FFA Association, and, the following year, as a National FFA Officer.
Growing up with a small Angus project on the family farm in Crothersville, Indiana led to Scott’s work as a farm broadcaster while in high school and college. Then, his FFA exposure created opportunities for him to speak to meetings of more county Farm Bureaus, local Farm Credit, commodity groups, and small-town equipment dealers than he can count.
Scott realizes a history in agriculture does not ensure an understanding of its rapidly changing and challenging future. Scott’s diversity in experience leads to more depth than any organization or consultant exclusively trained in a solitary industry. His exposure over the past years to a wide-array of varied fields…combined with his commitment and sensitivity to ag…allows him the unique perspective necessary to “cherry-pick” the best practices necessary for any organization to stand out in today’s hyper-competitive agribusiness marketplace.
Insightful ideas and amazing delivery. Our audience can’t wait to hear Scott again!John Deere
As Scott emphasizes, there is no industry where creating an “Ultimate Customer Experience®” is more important than in agriculture – where a long-term, repetitive relationship is absolutely vital. Scott will clearly outline strategies that enhance BOTH the acquisition of new customers…and the retention of those already choosing you as an important supplier.
